Hair loss – the dreaded word for both, men and women. Causes can vary from person to person, being emotional or physical stress, medications, hair abuse, auto-immune disease, crash diets, nutritional deficiency, high grade fever and the list can go on and on. With hair loss in can even be 2 or 3 causes working together! And its usually so hard to identify the cause unless your are diagnosed with an auto-immune disease or are taking medication known to cause hair loss as a side effect.
Other than having a healthy diet and TLC, we can really bring back that much sought after, healthy mane back to life by incorporating the below mentioned Ayurvedic herbs for hair in our daily lives:

Herbal treatment for hair loss:

1. Aloe-Vera:

Aloe Vera does it all, be it conditioning, promotes hair growth, prevents hair loss, combats sebum and much more. Extract aloe vera gel from the plant and directly apply on the scalp and leave it for atleast 2 hrs before rinsing. Ginseng is believed to stimulate the blood circulation, thus increasing the blood supply to the hair follicles. 4. Indian Gooseberry:

Indian gooseberry also known as “Amla” is rich in Vitamin Cand other minerals such as phosphorus, calcium, iron, Vitamin B complex and carotene. It promotes hair growth, strengthens hair roots and increases shine. It can be eaten fresh or in dried form or in the powdered form for its benefits. Coconut oil infused with the gooseberry should be massaged on the scalp for maximum benefits.
